    This music video portrays a couple deeply in love amidst a tumultuous world. The man promises to take the woman away to a better place, but various obstacles prevent him from fulfilling his promise, causing the woman’s love to turn into resentment. In her desperation to escape, she resorts to extreme measures, leading the man to view her actions as a fall from grace. Eventually, the man finds a way to escape with her, and they reconcile. However, as they are about to leave, he is assassinated. Heartbroken, the woman chooses to die with him. As gunshots ring out, she is transported to another era, where she reunites with the man she longs for.
