About the Director

Minkyu Kang is an award-winning director, screenwriter, and editor based in the United States and South Korea. Minkyu’s most recent short film, CHILDREN OF LIGHT, won the Grand Prize at the 28th DGA Student Awards and the Focus Features Awards. It’s also shortlisted for the 2023 BAFTA Student Awards and the 50th Student Academy Awards Finalist.
