About the Director

Jennifer Saura is a Spanish-American filmmaker working in both documentary and narrative. Her career began as a development assistant at Roger Corman’s New Horizons Pictures, where she worked on camp horror films such as SHARKTOPUS and SPLATTER. She went on to make a series of documentary shorts while earning her master’s at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Her current filmmaking practice explores psychological and supernatural horror, as seen through a distinctly female-focused lens.
