Since its inception, the Winter Film Festival has enriched the cultural landscape of New York. This event is a wonderful opportunity for people to come together and appreciate a wide range of works, including narrative fiction, music videos, and documentaries. By uplifting the voices of filmmakers from all walks of life, you honor the diversity which makes this industry successful – creating stories which all audiences can see themselves in.

Today, you gather to appreciate the hard work of some of today’s greatest emerging talents. On behalf of all New Yorkers, I am grateful for your commitment to promoting the arts in our state. Best wishes for an enjoyable festival.
