THE GENTLEMAN tells the story of an office worker who leads a double life. Beneath his polished, masculine exterior lies a hidden world of desire and transformation revealed only in private. The film explores identity, repression, and the secret selves that exist behind closed doors.

About the Director

Alireza Sharifi is an Iranian screenwriter and director currently pursuing his MFA in Film at Columbia University. He graduated from the Tehran University of Art with a degree in Film Directing and completed specialized directing courses under Oscar-winning filmmaker Asghar Farhadi. His short films have been screened at several international festivals. Blending Iranian drama with American genre cinema, his work explores themes of identity and moral conflict.
