Nia is a 30-something planner whose life turns upside down when her long-term boyfriend dumps her and ruins her five-year plan for marriage, kids, and a house on Long Island. Staring at a now-empty Google Cal, she invites herself on a night out with the girlfriends she’s ghosted, but is wildly unprepared for their cold shoulders and passive-aggressive attacks as she tries to defend her absence. Nia finds herself at a crossroads: win back her BFFs or chase the boy who left her?
About the Director
Talia Fayaz co-wrote, directed, and produced a comedy pilot SEXLESS IN THE CITY, receiving the 2024 NYC Women’s Fund grant from the NY Foundation for the Arts to finish the project. She has also written an original song for the pilot with her indie pop band, which received a whopping 73 plays on Spotify. She knows it’s going to blow up any day now.
