Jean has a no nonsense attitude to both her cleaning job and her affluent clientele. But faced with the aftermath of a grieving drag queen’s night of hedonism, she is forced to confront the pain of her own loss, and the repercussions of a deep rooted prejudice. CLUTTER examines how loss affects us all, whether gay, straight , queer or trans, and how we find the strength to move forward.
About the Director
James Card is an award-winning screenwriter and director known for A QUIET COURAGE, SOMNILOQUOY, SHORTCUTS TO HELL: VOLUME 1, SHRINKING VIOLET and JACK THE RIPPER IN AMERICA. He won Best Screenplay Short Film at Portsmouth International Film Festival for FOR MY NEXT TRICK, which was also nominated for Best British Film. His films have screened at festivals all over the world, most recently his first feature FINALLY NEARLY GETTING THERE won Best Feature at Brighton Rocks International Film Festival.
