About the Director

Chen Drachman’s first film, THE BOOK OF RUTH, starring Emmy Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh, has been in over 40 festivals globally, including the Oscar-qualifying Cinequest. The film won multiple awards and has more than 150K views online. Her newest film, BUT I’M A SHOE, starring Janet Varney, had its world premiere at the Oscar-qualifying St. Louis International Film Festival. Her next project, BLOOD AND SEX OVER AMBITION is a recipient of the Inwood Film Festival grant. It is set to film in early 2026.
