WHEN IT’S YOUR KID is the official music video for singer-songwriter Johnny Schaefer’s song of the same name which unflinchingly presents topics of teen suicide due to homophobia and school shootings. The viewer/listener is asked to put themselves in the shoes of parents losing children in these scenarios.
About the Directors
Daniel Henry graduated from HEC-Liege. He started working as a teacher while being involved with several theater companies. His debut as a director was in 1987. He joined Le Moderne Theatre, a famous local company in 1990, where he directed over 20 plays in the course of 15 years. He started experimenting as a filmmaker in 2000 and moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to pursue his career.
