About the Director
Nicole Taylor-Roberts is a writer-director who completed the Sony Diverse Director’s Program in 2016. An alumna of Columbia University SAO’s Film, her short films have won awards and been featured in festivals. Taylor-Roberts has been recognized by The National Foundation for the Arts; the NAACP; ABC – Disney Talent Development; NYWIF; and The Adrienne Shelly Foundation with a nomination for Best Female Director. Through her company, Rocketlight Films, Taylor-Roberts has done work for Sony Pictures, New York Fashion Week, General Motors and Nike — a Black History Month campaign featuring Kevin Durant.
