Survive against all odds. In 1940, Benjamin Orenstein, just a teenager, was sent to his first concentration camp in Poland. It was the start of a journey that has marked him for life. After years of silence, he testifies about one of the darkest pages in history.

About the Directors

MEMORY FOR BURIAL is the first film for director Charlotte Jarrix, an actress and theater director in Lyon France. It is the fulfillment of a promise made to Benjamin by Charlotte before his death: to create a documentary and retrace his steps by returning to the sites of his ordeal, including Auschwitz. Her goal is to convey the unspeakable, so that the horror will never be forgotten.
