About Your Article

Your article can be question and answer style or narrative, whichever you prefer. Take a look at last year’s articles for samples.  The main point is to make the film seem like something someone would absolutely want to come see.

In general, articles should include the following:

  • A good title and one exciting sentence we can use for excerpts and such
  • Something interesting about the filmmaker
  • Basic info about what the film is about and why it is awesome
  • Something interesting about the film or the creation process
  • Optional: Something about the tech involved to create the film — the camera and the editing software. This makes potential sponsors happy
  • Do not worry about screening dates – we will add that along with your photo and bio.

When complete, please submit your article via https://winterfilmfest.org/wff-forms/film-review/

THANK YOU! Please keep any eye out in your mail for something from Submissions@WinterFilmAwards.com
