About the Director
Emily Railsback is an American director and educator. Her credits include the first feature documentary, OUR BLOOD IS WINE (2018) premiered at the Berlinale International Film Festival, followed by a US theatrical release by Music Box Films and an international release by Magnet Film. Her second feature, AMERICAN PARENT (2023) premiered at BFI. She received her MFA from Columbia College Chicago, and lives in Arkansas where she teaches film production at the University of Central Arkansas.
