Winter Film Festival is returning to the Big Apple for its lucky 13th year – February 19-23 2025. The festival places a special emphasis on highlighting the work of under-represented filmmakers, and for 2025, the festival will showcase 87 films from around the world – from animated films, documentaries, dramas, horror films and music videos, 14 student films, 29 first-time directors and more than half of the films made by women and half by BIPOC directors.

Winter Film Festival announces a Call for Entries for its 13th Annual celebration of independent film, to be held February 19-23 2025 in New York City. Filmmakers from around the world will travel to NYC to attend the Festival’s thoughtfully curated film screenings , fascinating discussion panels and professional development workshops and glittering parties at venues throughout NYC. The Festival will conclude with an awards ceremony to be held on February 23, 2025 at NYC’s premiere nightclub.
