Richard Jordan

Richard Jordan has been in the business for 25+ years, casting for the last 15 for a wide variety of projects from independent film, commercials, music videos, voice over, print and live events.  Most recent features include THE BLACK CHAPEL by KY Woo. POP POP, Romas Zabarauskus’s THE WRITER which secured European distribution, POUNDCAKE by Onur Tukel & JEBUS.  His films have appeared at  SXSW, TriBeCa, SOHO film Festival, Chelsea Film Festival and took the top prize for best drama at Vimeo’s Staff Pick of the year award with “SICK BOY”. 

Commercial clients include British Airways, a national broadcast spot for Best Buy starring Kevin Hart, multiple campaigns for Macy’s, Petco, Hpnotiq with Fat Joe, MTV Music Video Awards, Diner’s Club, Victoria beer, Minute Maid, Bud Light, ADIDAS, & Nectar Mattress which won a Webby award for YouTube ad of the year. 

Music videos for The All American Rejects (Nominated  for British Video Music Awards), Norah Jones, Lewis Capaldi, DRAM, Joey Badass and the viral video  “Soy Yo” by Bomba Estero that was nominated for a Latin Emmy.

Richard started as an actor and continues his acting career in tandem with his casting career. He can be seen currently in roles on TIRES on Netflix, The Chair Company on HBO and in commercials for Draft Kings & Texas Pete. 

He has produced award-winning branded content, teaches the business of acting, gives talks, lectures and judges competitions. He’s an acting judge for The International Thespian Society and has been a judge or speaker multiple years at New Orleans Film Festival, Santa Fe International Film Festival and the Bushwick Film Festival.
