Laura Aguinaga

Laura Aguinaga is an actress, writer, and author based in New York City. A proud SAG-AFTRA member, she has appeared in numerous film and television productions, including FBI, New Amsterdam, and Shades of Blue. She also starred in the independent feature film Qiya, written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Alba Garcia. Her work spans drama, genre, and independent film, with a strong focus on nuanced storytelling and authentic representation.

In addition to her on-screen work, Laura is an accomplished filmmaker behind the camera. She wrote and directed the SAG-AFTRA short film Short Steps, which was selected for screening at several festivals, including the Queens World Film Festival and the SoHo International Film Festival. She is also the creator of the original science-fiction/fantasy series Artemisia, a large-scale narrative universe currently in development as a literary and multimedia project.
