Judith Balkin

Judith B. Balkin is a graduate of NYU Tisch School Of the Arts. She has worked in various media outlets, most notably for WCBS TV news. She is an independent producer and a member of BAFTA, NYWIFT., and HRTS.

Currently, she is the Chairwoman for the NYU Women’s Initiative which has 73,000 women members, and Chairwoman of the NYU Arts and Entertainment Network which has 5000 members who work in the visual and performing arts, television, film and entertainment. She is deeply involved in the the film festival circuit, the Winter Film Festival, the Webby Awards, the Telly Awards, to name a few as judge and moderator. In addition, she organized and was key note speaker at the UN speaking on “The Business Case For Women’s Leadership in Public Institutions.
