Founder
Emmy-nominated Executive Producer Christina Delfico garnered over 40 awards in children’s media. As The Producers Guild’s Green Committee Co-Chair, she supported the Mayor’s launch of NYC’s 1st television and film sustainability initiative. During her United Nations sustainability panel she asked the public to RETHINK EVERYTHING they use. A decades-long career with Sesame Workshop sparked an urge to provide green time over screen time.
Using her “producer superpowers” Delfico founded iDig2Learn to invite youth to reconnect with the natural world. In 2024 she became the unexpected focus in front of the camera when The New York Times and NBC Nightly News covered iDig2Learn’s milestone planting of 1,500 trees in NYC’s 1st Miyawaki Method pocket forest with partners SUGi.
In 2025, NYS Assembly Member Rebecca A. Seawright presented Delfico with the Women of Distinction award. Delfico continues to connect with the next generation of storytellers and care partners devoted to nature.
